We Are Propeller Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates experimental tools, including a WhatsApp-based listing assistant that helps users create draft marketplace adverts from information they choose to send by message.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and handle information when you interact with the listing assistant through WhatsApp.

1. Information We Collect

When you use the listing assistant, we may receive and process information you send to us through WhatsApp, including:

  • text messages
  • voice notes and audio messages
  • photos
  • videos
  • captions or descriptions attached to media
  • information contained in those messages, such as advert details, price, location, animal details, and contact-related information you choose to provide
  • technical message information made available through the WhatsApp Business Platform, such as message identifiers, timestamps, sender identifiers, and media identifiers

Please do not send information that is not needed to create your advert draft.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information you send to:

  • receive and process your WhatsApp messages
  • download media you choose to send
  • transcribe voice notes into text
  • combine your messages and media into listing context
  • generate a draft advert title, description, and extracted advert fields
  • reply to you in WhatsApp with the generated draft
  • test, debug, and improve the listing assistant during development
  • protect the service from misuse and investigate technical issues

The listing assistant is intended to help prepare advert drafts. It is not intended to provide customer support, legal advice, financial advice, veterinary advice, or other professional advice.

3. AI Processing

The listing assistant uses artificial intelligence services to process the content you send.

For example:

  • voice notes may be sent for speech-to-text transcription
  • message content and selected media may be sent to generate a structured advert draft and description

AI-generated drafts may be incomplete or inaccurate. You should review any generated advert content before using or publishing it.

We currently use OpenAI API services for transcription and advert generation. OpenAI states that data submitted through its API is not used to train its models by default unless the customer opts in to share that data. (platform.openai.com)

4. WhatsApp and Meta

If you contact us through WhatsApp, your use of WhatsApp is also subject to the terms and privacy practices of WhatsApp and Meta.

We receive messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform so that we can respond to the content you send and provide the listing assistant functionality.

5. Media and Draft Data

If you send photos, videos, or voice notes, we may store copies of those files and related generated draft information for the purposes described in this policy.

During prototype and testing phases, this data may be retained temporarily to allow us to:

  • maintain conversation context
  • debug the listing generation flow
  • test media and transcription behavior

We aim to keep prototype data only for as long as reasonably needed for testing, development, security, and troubleshooting purposes, unless a longer retention period is required by law or necessary to resolve an issue.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your WhatsApp message content.

We may share or process information with service providers where necessary to operate the listing assistant, including:

  • Meta / WhatsApp for message delivery
  • AI service providers used for transcription and content generation
  • hosting, storage, logging, and infrastructure providers used to run or test the service

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, or to investigate misuse of the service.

7. Your Choices

You choose what information to send to the listing assistant.

You can stop using the listing assistant at any time by stopping messages to the WhatsApp number.

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with your use of the listing assistant, subject to legal, security, and technical limitations.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed by the listing assistant. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Children

The listing assistant is not intended for use by children. Do not use it to submit information about children unless you are legally permitted to do so and it is necessary for the relevant purpose.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
